Steve is currently responsible for Nielsen’s business in Indonesia.  He has taken up the new role on September 1, 2008. 

Steve has held several senior positions within Asia Pacific, including New Zealand, Japan and Malaysia. Steve was Managing Director of our New Zealand operation for the past 3 years, and prior to that, worked as managing director for ACNielsen Malaysia, a position he held since July 2002.  Before Malaysia, Steve spent a number of years heading up our retail measurement group in Japan, and as such, has accumulated quite extensive international exposure on his travels around the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to this, he held marketing and sales positions with NCR and Borden, both companies based in New Zealand.

Steve has the depth and breadth of experience necessary to drive the Nielsen Indonesia business forward with his extensive knowledge of Nielsen and our clients' business along with solid experience working in a variety of market environments.

Steve initially joined Nielsen in New Zealand in 1993.
